The highlight of the week for 6S was visiting the Guildhall to see an exhibition of our artwork that we had produced. Whilst we were at the Guildhall, children participated in activities such as creating optical illusion art (Optart) and recreating famous local artist CPT's works.

Additionally, in English we started our new scheme of work on 'The Firework Maker's Daughter' where we explored and researched different fireworks and the setting of the firework workshop. In maths, we moved onto area and perimeter, where the children calculated the area and perimeter of different recilinear and triangular shapes. In PE, we started our new topic of handball where we explored the rules and basic passing techniques.
In RE, we began our Christianity module and in Geography we began our new topic of North America.
