A really excellent week in 6S (Rowling this week). It started off with us winning the Attendance Award and Behaviour Cup. In class, we wrote three letters based on our literacy topic 'The Railway Children'. In maths, we have completed our unit on algebra and have made a start on our new topic of decimals by learning place value, addition and subtraction. We did a science experiment in class, building on our knowledge of circuits by adding a switch to see how it impacts the circuit. In history, the children learnt about the shocking conditions of the Victorian workhouses. In PE, the children put together a yoga flow based on the poses that they have learnt and also, in outdoor PE, continue to build their hockey skills.
