On the 28th February, Year 6 took a trip to the 'Guildhall' in King's Lynn - a famous, old building steeped in History.

We went to the Guildhall to see the art we had created alongside staff at the Guildhall a few months earlier.
It is now on display - creative illustrations of local King's Lynn buildings.

We then completed two art workshops. One looked at the work of William Henry Page, a famous local artist who created paintings of buildings in the local area.
The second workshop looked at creating collage pictures of cityscapes and drawing optical illusions.

We also went to the Guildhall theatre. There we learnt a lot about the history of this amazing building - including that Shakespeare visited at one point, as did King Charles III!
