We were very excited to getting to know the Forest School area. We started by going over the Forest School rules, then it was time to explore!

It was a very cold week with freezing conditions, but this gave us the opportunity to make some lovely natural ice decorations which we hung on the trees the next day when they were frozen.

      As it is the RSPB Big Schools birdwatch in January and February, we began to learn about British birds. We made bird feeders from apples, cheese and bread.

Some of us decided to use the guttering to have races with the balls and some of us found lots of minibeasts when bug hunting.
