This week, we began to write our independent poems about the most annoying people in the world. The children used the model text excellently to help them write some superb poems.

In Maths, we have been continuing our work on fractions. Our Science lessons moved onto the life cycle of an insect (pictured) and allowed us to compare to our previous work on amphibians and mammals.

In History, we discovered how Britain began to gain control of India during the British Empire. During our Geography lesson, we found out how the Midlands differs from our homes here in East Anglia. 

During our Spanish lesson, we moved on to learning new phrases that will help us communicate in a more sophisticated way when talking about likes and dislikes. In PE, Mr Watson continued to support the children with their OAA work.
