Find out what we've been learning about in 5/6M this week.

It has been another successful week in 5/6M.

We have been developing our poetry skills, focussing on alliteration and appropriate rhyming patterns.

In Maths, we have enhanced our understanding of fractions, including placing them on a number line. In Science, we have studied the life cycles of amphibians and mammals (pictured) and considered how they are similar and different.

In PE, Mr Watson has been continuing the OAA curriculum, allowing the students to improve their ability to work in groups. Our Spanish lessons have continued our work on expressing likes and dislikes when it comes to fruit.

In RE, we have deepened our knowledge of Buddhism and the Four Noble Truths within it. Our geographical work has helped us understand more about East Anglia's land type. In History, we have discovered which items Britain traded from various parts of their empire.
