Find out what we have been learning in 5/6M this week.

In English, we began to plan our independent letter writing from the perspective of a character from our class book.

Our Maths work has moved onto short division using different methods.

In Science, we created our own volcanic pyroclastic flow in an experiment to show how substances can react with each other. This also helped the children understand reversible and irreversible changes.

In History, we discovered how the Battle of Waterloo was an important event in Napoleon's life.

Our Geography work looked at how experts can use data gathered to help others, such as ensuring buildings are earthquake-proof.

In PSHE, we have been comparing our culture to that of a Ghanaian cocoa farmer.

In RE, we have studied the lessons we can learn from the Nativity story.

In Music, we have developed our ability to move up and down the fretboard using all of our fingers.

Our PE lessons have helped develop the children's understanding of key elements of dodgeball.
