This term, in English, we will be looking at an explanation text. Our first lesson focussed on understanding the shapes, learning what the features of this type of text are. We listened to the book that the unit is based on, called "The Street Beneath My Feet"

In History, we began our new unit of work on the War of the Roses. The first lesson looked at the two leaders of the House of York and House of Lancaster, the reason behind the War of the Roses and how long it lasted. 

In Science, children took part in an experiment looking at forces and how the effect of a force is to make something change speed, move or change direction. We identified that a force is a push or pull and the impact that gravity has on objects and the world around us.

In religious education, we began our unit on multi-faith creation stories, and looked at the ideal world that creators make. The children drew their ideas of what their ideal world would look like, and who the creator would be.
