In English, we began looking at our success criteria to include in our independent writing.  We are continuing the story of how the wolf plans an escape from jail, and moves to a new place. The children's imaginations have truly shone through!

In Maths, we have continued with our place value learning, where pupils have looked at ordering numbers in ascending and descending order, identifying the meaning of both words.  We then moved onto rounding numbers to the nearest 10. We used a Gattengo chart to help us identify which multiple of 10 numbers were closest.

In R. E, we continued with our learning on Sikhism, where pupils looked and learnt about the 5K's and linked these to wearing a school uniform. Pupils worked in groups to match the images to the definition of each of the 5 K's.

In PSHE, we looked at rights and responsibilities, where we discussed a scenario and discussed the responsible, irresponsible choices, the rewards and consequences of the actions taken.

In History, we looked at the Iron Age and how they lived, the jobs they had, the food they ate and what they enjoyed doing. We looked at the timing of the Iron Age being around 800 BCE.

In science, we looked at having a balanced diet to keep healthy. Children drew the sections of the eat well plate and what our bodies need to keep strong and healthy.
