Autumn 2 Week 4
Maths
This week in Maths, we explored 2D and 3D shapes in greater depth. The children enjoyed identifying and describing the properties of different shapes and understanding how they relate to one another.
English
In English, we continued working with PIXL therapies to strengthen our writing skills. We focused on using prepositions, adverbs, and adjectives to make our sentences more detailed and engaging.
Geography
Our Geography lessons took us further into the world of natural elements. We explored mountains, volcanoes, and earthquakes, and even labelled and examined the key features of a volcano.

History
In History, we researched the Battle of Trafalgar and discovered fascinating facts about Horatio Nelson, including his strong connection to Norfolk. The children were captivated by this important moment in British history.

Science
Science was all about separating materials. We carried out practical activities using sieves and colanders to separate mixtures like salty water and muddy water, learning how different methods work for different substances.
