In History, we looked at the Iron Age and how they lived, the jobs they had, the food they ate and what they enjoyed doing. We looked at the timing of the Iron Age being around 800 BCE.
In English, we continued with our sentence stacking lessons, where pupils used adjectives to describe the pigs' eyes and frown. The children also used feelings to describe how the wolf was feeling, knocking on the last pig's door. Children also used thesauruses to find synonyms for said and created dialogue where the pig was feisty and had an angry reply.
In Maths, we have continued with our place value learning, where pupils have looked at comparing numbers using key vocabulary such as greater than, less than and equal to. They also have ordered numbers in ascending and descending order, identifying the meaning of both words.
In Art, we have been printing our flowers, using ink paint.
In R. E, we continued with our learning on Sikhism, where pupils looked and learnt about the 5K's and linked these to wearing a school uniform. Pupils worked in groups to match the images to the definition of each of the 5 K's.
In PSHE, we looked at rights and responsibilities, where we discussed a scenario and discussed the responsible, irresponsible choices, the rewards and consequences of the actions taken.
