Autumn 2 - Week 5
In the lead up to Christmas, we have begun creating our Christmas cards, Christmas decorations and our Christmas place mats ready for our Christmas lunch.
In Maths, we have continued our learning with subtraction, where we have subtracted numbers with a different number of digits, looked at complements to 100 and 1000. We have looked at reasoning and problem-solving and discussed how we have reached answers using mathematical vocabulary.

In English, we have been working on grammar concepts, particularly focussing on nouns, adjectives and verbs. We have been identifying nouns, adjectives and verbs in sentences, creating our own sentences and discussing exactly what they are.
In Geography, we examined population density.
In History, we continued looking at the Ancient Egyptians, where we learnt that Howard Carter was an archeologist who discovered the tomb of Tutankhamun.
In PSHE, we looked at witnesses to bullying, how people feel when they are bullied, what bullying is and examples of bullying.
In R.E, we continued our learning with Christianity, where we designed a Christmas card for Jesus and used descriptors for Jesus such as; The Saviour of us all, Lord of Love, Prince of Glory.
In Science, we looked at the life cycle of a frog.
