Summer 1 - Week 4
In Maths, we have been continuing our learning with fractions, where we have looked at fractions on a number line. We have also been practising our arithmetic skills.
In English, we have continued with our sentence stacking lessons, focusing on adverbials, similes and using descriptive vocabulary.
In History, we looked at King John and the crusades. We discussed what the crusades were and who Saladin was. The children then answered some questions where they had to find out information about King John, explain what the crusades were and who Saladin was and what he was remembered for.

In PSHE, we have looked at online safety, discussing how some games can appear to be great games, but however, when looking into them, they are fake games. We discussed top tips for online safety and created our own posters.

In Guided reading, we had an extract of Stig of the Dump. This week, we have had to answer some retrieval questions, including what, when and who. We have also used the same piece of text to help develop our inference skills.

In Art, we have used clay to create our own tiles based on a sea/plant design.
In Spanish, we have been consolidating and revising all ten verbs and how to put them into a sentence, using sé + infinitive verb.
