Autumn Week 6 - Another great week!
The following week PE lessons have taken place this week at Howard Junior School:
Class 3/4 B have continued their tag rugby unit of work. Within this week the children learnt about defensive formations and the 'defensive line'.
Class 3/4 C have continued their fitness unit of work. Within this week, the Children have learnt about developing their agility and stamina. We also discussed how this can apply to everyday life.
Class 3/4 M have continued their fitness unit of work. Within this week, the Children have learnt about developing their strength and stamina and how this can be applied to everyday life.
Class 5/6 H have continued their tag rugby unit of work. Within this week, the children expanded their knowledge of the defensive line whilst exploring different attacking tactics. The introduction of gaining territory and the importance of this in invasion games.
Class 5/6 M have continued their fitness unit of work. Within this week, the children expanded their knowledge of the 7 components of fitness; developing their stamina and agility and how these apply to everyday life and sports.
Class 5/6 S have continued their tag rugby unit of work. Within this week, the children expanded their knowledge of attacking tactics. The importance of gaining territory whilst attacking and using full advantage of the '3 tag' rule.
Another fantastic week of PE lessons. It is great to see the learning of all children from previous weeks using our working walls and assesments.
