This week we enjoyed playing some fun games and learning about beetles and how they are insects with six legs.
We were also interested in what birds could be heard in our Forest School area and used an app called "merlin" which listens to bird calls to see what birds are around. We heard a blackbird, long-tailed tit, robin, blue tit and great tit and saw some magpies too!
We also looked at the live cameras at the Hawk and Owl Trust website and were interested to see some barn owls and tawny owls at a very local conservation site.
Some of us showed great team work skills by building a tree house in one of our trees at Forest School, gathering materials and using them to build steps up to the tree.
