12.1.25

This week was surprisingly a very mild week, weather wise compared to last week! It is the RSPB Bird Watch Month so we decided to make some bird-feeders and scatter some birdseed to try and encourage more birds to our school grounds and our Forest School area. We noticed we have blue tits, blackbirds, magpies, long-tail tits and jackdaws on our playing field. We will keep looking out for birds all month and send in our results once we have finished to the RSPB. Alongside this we have been learning the names of birds and how to identify them using their size, colour and various features.

This week we also enjoyed the slack-line, relaxing in trees, bug hunting, digging, getting very muddy and lots more activities. We also completed a litter pick of our school field to help keep the area tidy and safe for wildlife.
