In English, we have been focusing on the different elements of the subject. The children have completed work on spelling rules, grammar, and reading comprehension, developing both accuracy and understanding in their written and spoken work.
➗ Mathematics
In Mathematics, we have explored halves and quarters of both objects and numbers, helping pupils to build a secure understanding of fractions through practical and mathematical activities.
🌍 Geography
In Geography, we began our study of Western Europe, learning about the different countries located within this region and developing our map and location skills.
🕰️ History
In History, the children have started learning about the introduction of law, with a particular focus on the reign of Henry II and how laws began to shape society.
🔬 Science
In Science, we have launched our new topic on rocks, where pupils have started to explore their features and properties through observation and discussion.
