The children made an excellent start to the half-term. In English, we began writing a narrative story including some of our key features, such as adverbial phrases and relative clauses.
In Maths, we are learning how to divide fractions by whole numbers.
In Science, we have started learning about air and water resistance. We completed a practical activity to test this, which involved making parachutes.
In RSHE, we identified the ways in which cigarettes and vaping can affect our bodies.
In PE, the students have been learning how to pass and dribble the ball in Basketball.
In History, we have started learning about the Transatlantic Slave Trade and the countries involved in this.
Our Geography work has been centred on Australia and the different regions and land types.
