Autumn 2 Week 3
We’ve had another exciting week in the Aspire Suite! Here’s what we’ve been learning:
Mathematics
We extended our learning by exploring numbers beyond 10. Pupils enjoyed using tens grids, counters, cubes, and number lines to strengthen their number recognition skills.
English
Our lessons introduced Colourful Semantics to help pupils develop sentence structure and understanding. We began by identifying verbs and nouns as key parts of a sentence.
History
We explored religion, beliefs, and the afterlife in Ancient Egypt. Pupils used images and artefacts to deepen their understanding of this fascinating period.
Geography
We compared and contrasted rural and urban areas in the UK, discussing their similarities and differences.
Science
Our focus was on how plants live, grow, and reproduce. Pupils began to explore the life cycle of a plant, learning about each stage in detail.
