
In Science, this week we have looked at the life cycle of a plant, naming the parts of the plant and referring to prior learning of the plant changing through the seasons.

In Maths, we have been looking at making connections with numbers where pupils have been learning to identify how many ones there are in tens, how many tens there are in hundreds, how many hundreds there are in thousands. We have also started learning how to add by exchanging using the column method.


In History, we have been continuing our learning about Ancient Egyptians and learning about the life Ancient Egyptian people had depending on whether they were rich or poor.
In English, we have continued our sentence stacking lessons focusing on how to promote a Christmas dessert.
In Geography, we compared different settlements including; towns, cities, villages and hamlets.
In PSHE, we looked at conflict and how this can be solved.
