In Maths, we have been continuing our learning on place value, where we have focused on rounding to the nearest 10, 100, 1000, learning the rules of rounding up or down.

In PSHE, we looked at a letter from Sam, who had never been to school. We discussed why he might be scared to start, the responsible actions and choices we could make to help him and how he might feel once he is settled in. Pupils come up with ideas about our school values, such as diversity and celebrating everyone's differences. Pupils also shared how they would respect him and look after his wellbeing, as well as getting to know him and show him around the school.

In Art, we decorated our own feathers as part of a project.

In Geography, we looked at a comparison of Kings Lynn and San Francisco and compared the physical features of both places, and how people may travel.  The children identified how King's Lynn is very flat, whereas as San Francisco has steep hills, this is why they use cable cars.

We had a special visit this week from PC James Smith. In year groups, we listened to internet safety tips, and how to stay safe while online. We then had a chance to try on some of his gear!
