Week 3 and we are delighted to have won the Frozen Friday competition, raising more money than any other class for the PTFA.
In English, we have been writing a non-chronological report about polar bears, and I was very impressed with the effort by all, especially this young man whose work is shown.
In Maths, we have made steps into formal division with many of us getting to grips with the bus stop method and remainders.
In Science, we looked at different biomes and the adaptations animals have had to make to survive in their ever-changing environment.
History saw the continuation of our Human Rights with a closer look at the Rights of the Child.
PE changed this week as over half our class were performing at a dance festival, which they thoroughly enjoyed, so we took to the basketball court to brush up on our dribbling and shooting skills.
In art, we delved further into the artists who shaped the 20th century with a study of Barbara Hepworth before starting our project "Who I am".
In Geography, we continued with our study of extreme weather.
In PSHE we got the giggles as we continued with Changing Me and learnt more about how our bodies change as we go through puberty.
