We are so incredibly proud of the class for completing their final Year 4 assessments in GPS, Spellings, Reading and Arithmetic and showcasing all of their knowledge. We are looking forward to celebrating these achievements in a few weeks with our own class graduation ready for Year 5!

English: We have planned, edited and rewritten our playscripts based on the Plague of Eyam. We focused on including brackets for stage directions, colons for character names, similes, adjectives and verbs to describe the plague symptoms and questions.

Science: We started our first lesson on electricity. We spoke about how electricity can be useful but also how electricity can be dangerous. We identified hazards found in the house and classroom. We then created our own posters of how to stay safe on electricity!

Spanish: We started our first lesson in Se (I know how). We learnt 5 new verbs and answered a range of speaking, listening, writing, spelling and reading challenges based on these verbs. We even acted them out!

PE: Athletics (Sports Day Practice) with Mr Watson. We enjoyed practising our sprinting!

Dance: We continued to practice our Lava Chicken dance, ready for some of us to showcase this routine in the Dance Festival next week!

Spellings: -less, -ment, -ful, -ness suffixes.

Handwriting: Double g.

We enjoyed creating our own tree to design our Father's Day cards. We hope that you all have a lovely Father's Day this weekend, and we look forward to welcoming some of you next week for Father's Day lunches!

We are incredibly proud of our Golden Pupil, Jaxon, due to his ambition towards his learning - making outstanding progress in his reading assessment and consistently embodying the Howard values.

Well done to Lukas for achieving the double whammy of earning the most knowledge points and taking the most quizzes on ReadTheory!

We are so proud of our Star of the Week who has taken on board all of our gap analysis lessons to help him make improvements in his Maths assessments. He has shown great resilience and ambition with his assessments!

Finally, well done to our winning Dojo team - the 4- Green Leaf Clovers - who earned over 650 Dojos this week! The race is on to become the ultimate Dojo team...
