We have started our learning in English by looking at a persuasive post where we have identified key features and located these in a social media post. We have gathered descriptive vocabulary based on various desserts and discussed what makes a good dessert.

In Geography, we have looked at settlements and compared two different settlements where we have looked at a village and a city.

In R.E we have looked at Christmas and discussed how we celebrate the Christmas holidays and what we enjoy the most.

In History, we have started our learning about Ancient Egypt and this week we have looked at where Egypt is on a map and discussed the importance of the River Nile.

In Music, we have looked at the song 'Love what we do' and the outcome of this unit of work is playing in a band. We have talked about the song together, explored its musical style through the style indicators of this music.

In Maths, we have looked at adding and subtracting 1s, 10s, 100s and 1000s and also across a boundary.
