Summer 2 Week 2
It has been a busy week with lots of assessments in Maths and English and the children have tried so hard to showcase all that they have learnt this year.
In history, we have been exploring the importance of Human Rights.
In Geography, extreme weather was the focus, and we concentrated our efforts on the impact of flooding across the UK.
We questioned how much our parents we look like, what is an inherited characteristic and what an environmental choice, as part of Science.
Pablo Picasso has been our inspiration in art, and we have used our skills to recreate his unique style.
We continued with athletics in PE and practised pacing ourselves for the distance races before having a sprint dash to find the next Usain Bolt in 5H.
In R.E. we are continuing to study Islam, looking at the idea of life after death.
