A Busy and Productive Week!

It has been a busy week in our classroom, and I couldn’t be prouder of the hard work the children have put into their assessments. Each student has shown tremendous focus, determination, and resilience. It's been wonderful to see the progress they’ve made—not just academically, but in their confidence and independence as well. Well done to everyone for giving their best effort!

In athletics, we’ve been practising for our upcoming Sports Day. The children worked on their short sprints and took part in a friendly house competition. There was fantastic energy, lots of cheering, and great team spirit all around!

In computing, the children explored photo-editing techniques. They learnt how to change images to reflect different moods—such as happy, sad, or angry—using colour filters, cropping, and other effects. It was a fun and creative way to think about how visuals can influence emotion.

In history, we’ve been diving into the fascinating world of the Stuarts. The class learnt about King Charles I and Oliver Cromwell, and we had some interesting discussions about monarchy, power, and how these figures shaped British history.

It’s been a week full of learning, creativity, and enthusiasm—well done, everyone!
